I have now read all of your posts... and I have chosen this one to comment on... not relative to it's subject matter or specific content, but more so as I feel that it serves as a prime example and testament to the underlying beauty of your writing as a whole... (no pun intended) and also because this one is so personal to my attempt at 'Peaking Around the Corner'... ;)

In each one of your posts I find some tantalizing bit of newness... each a distinctive topic eloquently phrased in its own light. And at the same time each of your writings contain a refrain of sameness... that sameness being a refreshing innocence of honesty and reveal... I stand in applause of your honesty and tip my hat to your reveal. Touché!

Wow, Anthony! I am so grateful and blessed that you have come to my Substack. I need and appreciate insight on my themes and the writing itself. Truth, Beauty, and Goodness are underlying themes that I feel absolutely called to research, write about, and discuss.

You know, it’s funny -- maybe I’m just weird -- but I can find beauty in almost every situation. On occasion, it takes a bit, of course. Then there are those rare times when I don’t think beauty exists, but those are truly rare.

I could go on and on. Thank you again for taking the time to thoughtfully comment. And, you are a very good writer!

It appears from your writings that you have a wonderful grasp of Truth, Beauty and Goodness... that, as they say. is intuitively obvious to the casual observer. As far as finding beauty in almost every situation, I believe that our human nature is capable of creating beauty in almost every situation... and the same holds true for the reverse... simply depends on our outlook at any given moment.

Coming from someone that wields such an elegant pen as yourself... I am truly honored... Thank you!

Beauty, yes. Festivity too. I think you might like my three posts Josef Pieper and festivity. Latest one concerns a Jacques Tati film, but the second one fits with what you've written here. https://pomocon.substack.com/p/contemplating-festivity-in-grim-times?utm_source=profile&utm_medium=reader2
