Thank you for reading, Spiro. Your words about your little parish and also visiting the relics of St. Therese (I so wish I could properly accent her name on SS) brought me to tears. "In those days the road was part goat-track so it used to take an hour, or so, each way..." <- this is so beautiful and it gives me hope. I don't know how else to put it, but it does. I'm a very happy person, so people wonder why I talk like that, but it should make sense. Very happy people need hope too. Right?
Regarding your father -- please do not ever, ever even consider euthanasia. If you do, THEY win. Please, yes, read about redemptive suffering, especially the first hyperlink I made upon the words, "redemptive suffering." If you can't find it, or it doesn't work, go to http://fisheaters.com and search redemptive suffering.
If you would give me your father's first name, my husband and I will pray for him daily and we will also pray for him before the Blessed Sacrament.
I am so glad to hear that. We will pray daily for Kevin and your family. And, same for us -- none of those evil things are EVER acceptable in our family. 💗

I love Latin. Taught it and Ancient Greek ti all the kids during homeschooling. It has been wonderful for them.
