Save yourself the trouble. Don't buy anything with a label. Only buy food you can herd, hunt, or grow. Only whole, real meat or plants. No sugar, flour, or vegetable oil. Nothing processed.
I agree with you, Lawdog, but most people aren't going to go that route -- at least not all at once. We are right on with what you say here. We do use cassava flour and it's wonderful. Takes a bit to learn how to adjust it and work with it, but my family loves cassava flour tortillas more than they ever like the flour ones.
We only keep sugar around for making baked goods for church, birthdays, etc. NEVER any vegetable or seed oils in our home ever.
We always try to wear only natural fibers. It gets difficult in some situations, but I insist on it for our family. However, one of our sons is getting married in February and I am in the process of choosing a mother-of-the-groom gown. I have not found ANY that are appropriate and purely natural fibers. But it will only be for that one day, so I'm not too concerned. For everyday wear, or for things you may only wear a few times a year, natural fibers are probably best.
In the middle of watching, thanks. Food over there is SO much better and even not perfect, but better than here. Hubs and our daughter are in South Africa right now. The food down there is amazing. I should have gone with them just for that. I am SO sick of this American food and grocery stores and lack of nutrients. I have been sick, but I just don't want to eat this shit. Pisses me off. Hubs and I now spend a lot of time in the grocery stores reading labels.
So cool that they say the food in SA is amazing. Are they talking about restaurant food, street food, or grocery store food? Or all three? Are they reading labels, etc? I'm very keen to know what makes them say that.
I'm so sorry you've been sick. I know I'm many days late getting to this, but you will be in my prayers. Let me know what you think of the video when you get a chance.
The food is just food. There aren't really processed foods over there. Fresh! That video was great. Led me to Moconomy on youtube and watched a few things on there. Thanks!
Gluck, that title is hilarious.
What can I say? I HAD to do it.

Dare I ask, in a similar vein, any thoughts about wearing polyester vs. cotton?

Thank you for labors for a vanishing world!
Thank YOU for reading and taking the time to comment, John!
Grounding slowly and not necessarily face first
Hi there Dr. Googlybean! It seems as if you intuitively know about my clumsiness. Hahaha Yeah, I do my best to do those things slowly...peacefully....
